What is the Fruit Fly Sucker®?

The Fruit Fly Sucker® is a patented, rechargeable handheld bug vacuum that gives you a pesticide-free way to take control of unwanted bugs.

Powerful suction captures fruit flies, house flies, mosquitoes, gnats, ants, spiders, stink bugs and other small insects. Bugs can be trapped on the 30-layer renewable sticky bug tape disc, or you can use the catch-and-release option for insects you want to release outdoors.

It’s compact, rechargeable and designed for homes, kitchens, bars, restaurants, RVs, campers, hotels, rental properties and more.

How does the Fruit Fly Sucker® work?

Turn it on, wait for the vacuum to reach its high-pitched operating sound, then aim and move quickly toward the bug.

The patented funnel opens under suction, pulling the insect inside. Turn the Fruit Fly Sucker® off and the funnel closes, helping prevent escape.

For trapping, insects are captured on the sticky bug tape disc. When the exposed layer has been used, simply peel it away to reveal a fresh sticky layer underneath.

Unlike passive traps that wait for bugs to come to them, you are the hunter:

Is the Fruit Fly Sucker® pesticide-free?

Yes. The Fruit Fly Sucker® captures bugs using vacuum suction and adhesive—not pesticides or insecticide sprays.

That makes it especially useful in places where you may not want to spray chemicals, including kitchens, dining areas, bars, restaurants and RVs.

As with any rechargeable appliance, use appropriate supervision around young children and pets.

Does it work on more than fruit flies?

Does it have a catch-and-release option?

Yes. You don’t have to stick every bug.

Keep the protective cover over the sticky bug tape disc when you want to capture an insect without exposing it to the adhesive. Vacuum the insect into the Fruit Fly Sucker®, take it outdoors, and release it.

Perfect for honey bees spiders and other bugs you’d rather relocate than eliminate.
